Ever since she was a wee lass, Kari Ann wanted to be a star. She was groomed for it, from the time she could walk. Kari Ann grew up in Oregon, attending a private Christian academy, pampered like the born to the silver star she dreamed about becoming. Her combination Spanish/ Portugese blood gives her the naturally looking tan she wears so proudly. Born on March 20, 1984, Kari grew up in Oregon, and lived a rather sheltered life. Her parents, however, were such that they paid for her ample breast augmentation, so she could enter beauty pageants. This was a graduation present when she finished high school. Most notably, she won the Miss United States Teen crown in 2003. Her title was taken away when she appeared nude in the November 2004 issue of Playboy Magazine, although she refused to return her crown. She stated that there was nothing in her contract about not doing nude shoots, and since the issue did not hit stands until after her reign had ended, she did not think it would be a big deal. Prior to becoming Miss United States Teen, she was Miss Oregon Teen USA 2002 and competed for Miss Teen USA. She did not place at the national pageant. Since relinquishing her title, Kari has pretty much vanished from the public eye except for an appearance on The Howard Stern Show. She has a minor part in a movie called "Grilled" starring Ray Romano, Kevin James, and Burt Reynolds. The movie came out in 2006. A common misconception is that Kari Ann Peniche was Miss Teen USA and that she lost her crown due to some nude photos. She was Miss Oregon Teen USA 2002 and competed for Miss Teen USA 2002. She did not place or win any awards at the national pageant. She did, however, become Miss United States Teen 2003. She was stripped of that title due to controversy. Now, she has all but faded into obscurity; but, that doesn't stop us from offering you her fifteen minutes of fame pictures from her nude modeling.
